Before coming to Canada, Wen Liu worked as a lawyer in China for 7 years. She was a senior lawyer leading various capital market transactions at one of the eight "Red Circle Law Firms" in China and also at PwC Legal China. Wen Liu's practice areas include corporate, private equity, overseas IPOs (US and HK), etc. She represented and provided legal services to many underwriters including Goldman Sachs, Bank of America and BofA Securities, Credit Suisse, and many famous companies in TMT, manufacturing and new energy industries. She worked well with other professional agencies, such as the "Big Four" and famous international law firms like Simpson Thacher& Bartlett LLP, Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP, Latham & Watkins LLP and O'Melveny & Myers LLP. Wen Liu also worked closely with auditing and tax departments of PwC China when working at PwC Legal China to provide all-around services to clients.

Like many immigrants, for the benefit of the next generation, Wen Liu decided to come to Canada. Despite giving up her career and partnership opportunity in China, Wen Liu wanted to resume her legal practice. Instead of going through accreditation process, she chose to get formal and systemic legal education from Canadian law school. After three-year legal study, Wen Liu got a job offer from a top-tier business law firm in downtown Vancouver. 

Covid 19 suddenly changes living and working style of us, and we started to think about how to adjust ourselves to the new normal and to achieve work-life balance. Maybe it is the perfect timing to start a virtual law firm where we can provide more options to our clients to enjoy convenient and affordable legal services without having to go out and meet face-to-face.
